Persistence I believe is a very valuable thing, If you keep working on something and giving it all, you'll eventually be amazing at it. It's worked for me, I used to be terrible at drawing. I've been working on it pretty hard since late 7th grade and now I'm pretty good, according to friends and family.

It's kind of crazy that a poster that was supposed to be used to ensure safety and keep the people calm is now used as a joke and a international symbol. That astonishes me how the meaning of any thing can change so drastically.

I'm not really sure what to write about, nothing interesting has really happened other than me getting a new phone. I had my old one for almost 2 and a half years! It was falling apart and barely working, I'm surprised it worked for as long as it did. Another interesting thing is that I finally started to work on my first vehicle project! A 1970 Volkswagen Bus, it's going to take awhile to do but it's definitely going to be worth it.

Describe the perfect day.

Traveling with my friends and just talking having a great time, doing whatever pops up in our minds to pass the time. Listening to music and talking while traveling, can't get any better than that. Friends are important to me, other than family they're all I've got.

"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is
who you really are, while reputation is merely what others think of you." - John Wooden

I believe you should care about both of them equally, because what others think of you
can be pretty important. But it's also important to keep your character morale up so you
are able to do what you need and want to do.

Most comfortable place?

That would be anywhere thats cold, and rainy or cold and snowing. Lack of sun and raining is what I prefer but I feel at home with either of them. I always feel better when the weather is like that, it's uplifting for some odd reason. I've always liked it and I believe I'll always like it, it makes me feel at home.

"Writing is the painting of the voice" -Voltaire

I strongly believe in this quote because words can be so strong. The closest thing to paintings that aren't paintings would be actions and words. All three of those are very strong and have a lot of power to push anyone to to do anything.

I would travel, The world is such a beautiful place. I want to explore it and experience it so bad. Having bragging rights saying you traveled the world is also a major plus.

The last week has been pretty awesome! I've got to miss a lot of school which is good and bad, I went to Knowledge bowl and our 3 teams do great each time, I finally started physical therapy so I miss school for about an hour twice a week. I finally don't walk with a limp and my arm is progressing really well. With my arm being out of commision for the past couple weeks it's been quite difficult to do much of anything, but now I finally can and I'm pretty happy about it.

Connections from the video: When you first get into Composition you have an idea on what you'll be doing. It doesn't mean you'll be good right away at it, but you know what's going on. You first start off writing and it's kinda sloppy, poorly put together. But each assignment is like a draft, each draft you do the better you get and by the last day of the class you are well off and educated on writing.

I believe in this quote %1000. I almost always let my heart do thinking and it usually comes back around to bite me. It's a terrible habit I have and need to kick but, I've always been like that so dropping the habit will be difficult. Back to the quote, the heart tells you what you want but the brain says what needs to be done.

I agree with this to an extent, in all my experiences through out life there has not been something to permantely get rid of sad feelings and sorrow. There have been things that make it dormant and not very noticeable but it's all still there, So suppressing it is the closest you can get. Feelings and experiences never fully go away.

The Nicest Person I know, I'm not sure. It's kind of a 3 way tie but they are all really nice, they help me when I need it and they are always willing to talk to me and that's great knowing that someone is always there willing to help.

Ahhhhh Valentines day, pretty much just a normal day for me. Spend money on one person, buy them gifts but today it has hearts on it. That is the only difference to any other day for me. I wish I was more enthusiastic about it but enthusiasm just isn't there anymore, blandness everyday. A few spikes of interest and enthusiasm here and there but overall, quite bland.

I agree with it because you can have good moments in your life, where everything is going good and then it all comes crashing down and all you can do is keep trudging forward and deal with it. Because if you keep pushing there is more of a chance of it getting good again.

The best time of the day is when its dark, cold and wet from rain. The sun is barely starting to rise so the sky is a bluish purple color with remnants of clouds. There is nothing better than doing anything at that time. It is so soothing and relaxing, I love it a lot. I could pretty much do anything at this time and be happy and content with it.

"I am happiest when...."

"I am happiest when" is kind of hard to choose for me because it all depends on how I feel on that certain moment when I am asked the question. At the moment, I am happiest when I travel for Knowledge bowl and Pep Band. I love to go places with my friends, to sit and relax and to do things I love.

"When we read and write, we become superheroes, sports stars, mermaids, angles, grown ups, and crazy creatures."

The quote makes sense in a way that, when you read and write books or anything of the sort. You become more creative. Superheroes, sports stars, mermaids, angles, grown ups, and crazy creatures are all creative things when we are young. So I believe the quote works.

"You know you have made the right decision when there is peace in your heart."

I don't necessarily agree with it. I made some decisions recently and everything was amazing, life couldn't get any better but everything changed and almost everything is horrible. Just because your heart is at peace at the moment for the choices you made previously, does not mean it will stay good and peaceful. There is the complete opposite of peace in my heart currently, Complete War.

I don't feel that good today. Im overall just down today. Some bad things happened and Im left confused on what to even do right now. I can't think straight and I don't feel good. I don't feel up to really anything right now. I get to leave town for a few days to get away from everything so Friday is the only thing I'm hoping for at the moment.

Boring phrases need not to be boring, Like "I am cold" do something better like this;

As I walked outside into the frigid winter air, I lost my breath. The cold has entered my lungs and stole all of my breath and was left speechless, I had to stop and sit down to steal back my breath. After sitting down my face felt like it was dying. The cold had slapped my face and was sassy about it. But I eventually got up and ran into the warmth again.

"If you want to be a writer you must do two things above all others. Read a lot, and write a lot."

I believe this quote is true, The more you do something the more used to it you get and the easier it is to do it. With writing I believe in that even more because being good at writing is quite difficult, Transposing words into pictures in a person's mind is harder than you think, and not knowing how they respond after they read a certain sentence. You can't act upon how they respond so it's hard.

If I had it my way.... If I had it my my way I'd have my license and I'd have one of my dream cars for each day of the week, not worrying about gas money and Insurance. Because most of my dream cars are gas hogs from the 70's. I'd also have it so I would not have to take math, I can't stand math and I don't understand it, but I'm still put in high end classes with older people. If I had it like that, I'd be the happiest person in the world because life is almost perfect right now.

Today has been okay, I couldn't  sleep at all last night so I stayed up and just occupied myself with any mind droning activity I could possibly do. My phone wasn't taking in texts so I couldn't talk to my closest friend. So last night was not ideal, but this morning was better. I got to see my closest friend and we hung out at her locker and just talked and mindlessly did school work while eating candy. I was awesome. I wish I could do that everyday but I am in too many activities so, about half my school mornings are taken up until about 10 min before the bell. I guess 10 minutes is better than no minutes. Same issue after school, Activities clog up half my week up until 4PM. But oh well.

"What if i told you that in 10 years from now your life we be exactly the same? I doubt you'd be happy, so why are you so afraid of change?"

I think I'd be fine, I like life a lot now. I have my very close friend who sticks with me through anything  and it's fun. I usually like change but life now is almost close to perfect for me. There are a few things I would change, minor things and I would be completely perfect with life being the same for the next 10 years.

Don't Tell me the moon is shining, show me the glint of light on broken glass

What I think it means is that, Show proof that something is happening. Don't just go by word, Words lie more often than eyes do.

I think its a good quote, I can't find anything I don't like about it and it makes sense. I'd rather see for myself than just go by the word of someone else.

I think it connects to Composition by the fact that the teacher sees our work and can see how good (or bad) it is, no teacher is going to grade you just by your word, They have to see it with their eyes.
